Road users should be aware that there will be stop/go traffic management on State Highway 29 (SH29) Takitimu Drive Toll Road tonight 15 April, from 7pm until 5am for emergency pavement repairs.

Minor delays are expected.

The work is to repair some pavement defects ahead of the forecast wet weather, which would exacerbate the problem.

The area is currently under a temporary speed restriction of 50km/h until more permanent asphalt repairs get underway tonight.

NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) advises road users to take care through the area and thanks them for their patience.
